The family firm of Comrie Crafts was started in Comrie in 1967 and moved to the beautiful town of Pitlochry in 1986. It is still managed by James Young who designs all items personally.

Since 1967 Comrie Crafts have become known, world wide, for quality sgian-dubhs and dirks. Only the best hard woods and horn are used to produce distinctive items.

No two items from Comrie Crafts are exactly the same because every piece of wood is slightly different and the markings on horn varies. Consequently, you can be sure that your purchase from Comrie Crafts will be unique.

Inspiration for our designs is drawn from the magnificent views from our workshop over the Scottish countryside.
